We do not accept telephone requests for prescriptions as mistakes can easily be made. You can request your prescription in person, or by post. You can also request your medication on-line. Please contact us for a registration form.
We aim to have your prescription ready within 48 hours of your request being received. However, if there are any queries with your request and these need to be sent to the GP your prescription may take a little longer. The receptionist will advise you.
If you see a message on your repeat prescription which indicates that your medication review is overdue, please make an appointment to see your GP for a medication review.

When you collect your prescription you may notice a reminder that your medication review is overdue. It is highly important that you see your GP once every 12 months for a medication review, even if you are reviewed at the hospital! This is because the GP has overall responsibility for your medication as he/she prescribe it and it is there signature on the prescription! So, if you see a message please make a routine appointment.
Please allow 48 hours, excluding weekends and Bank Holidays, for your request to be processed. Any problems please telephone the surgery.
