Home Visits

Home VisitsHome visits are ONLY for patients who are infirm and the seriously ill. We would respectfully ask that before requesting a home visit, please consider bringing the patient to see the doctor in surgery wherever possible as patients are often seen quicker.

The decision to offer a home visit is made by the doctor, and NOT the receptionist. Therefore, the doctor may return your call and ask you to attend the surgery instead.

If you do need a home visit, please ring before 10:00am wherever possible.

Telephone Consultations

The Doctors and Practice Nurses also operate a telephone consultation system. If you think that your condition is something that you can talk to the Doctor OR Nurse about over the phone, rather than face to face, please ask the Receptionist to book you in for a telephone consultation. She will make a note of your telephone number and the Doctor OR Nurse will return your call at the end of surgery.

Our Nurses DO have booked appointments and you can also ask for a Telephone Consultation with them.  You can book an appointment up to one month ahead with any of the Practice Nurses.
